"THE GUNDAM BASE POP-UP" Event at New Chitose Airport: A Gundam SEED Freedom Extravaganza

The highly anticipated "THE GUNDAM BASE POP-UP" event will take place at the New Chitose Airport starting on January 26, 2024, in time for the release of the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom movie across Japan. This official event, which makes its debut at the airport and is centered around THE GUNDAM BASE, the ultimate Gunpla facility, has a lot to offer both newcomers and Gundam enthusiasts alike.

Special Exhibitions and Events

Gallery of Images and Character Introduction: A unique wall display honoring the film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," containing a picture gallery, character analyses, and plot points. Additionally, there are life-sized character panels for visitors to enjoy for pictures.

Gundam Stamp Rally: An exclusive stamp rally held at six different New Chitose Airport locales. Get every stamp to obtain a unique visual card. The GUNDAM BASE POP-UP is the rally's starting and finishing point. Limited gifts are available there, first come, first served.

GunPla Assembly Experience: All ages are welcome to participate in the Gunpla Assembly Experience, from kids to adults. This practical workshop offers an excellent chance to explore the realm of Gunpla construction. From January 26 to February 11, it will take place every day from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the final entry being accepted at 5:00 PM.

Special Offers & Limited-Edition Items

Fans will be able to purchase limited edition and newly released stuff from THE GUNDAM BASE. More specifically, by enabling fans to construct and learn more about Gundam models, the Gunpla assembly experience enriches the whole Gundam fandom experience. The HGCE 1/144 Rising Freedom and HGCE 1/144 Immortal Justice, among other standard retail items, will also be offered for sale at the event.
