Bandai Hobby Announces the First Ever Gundam Base Pop-up Event in Southeast Asia

The official Bandai Hobby website has announced that the first Gundam Base Pop-up event in Southeast Asia that will be held in the Central Festival Chiang Mai, Thailand, from July 10th to 16th, 2024. This seven-day event aims to provide a unique and immersive experience for Thailand's Gundam fans.

1.8m Gundam Statue

  1. I'm curious why they took so long to do this, especially for an Asian country. But I hope they continue to do events like this, as well as add more Gundam Bases outside of Japan! Perhaps in the NA soon?

    We have a sizable Gundam fanbase here, but I suppose it isn't huge enough for them to open one yet.

    GunPla's 45th bday is next year, however I believe they've been rather slow on providing kits, and focusing on recoloring them through pbandai. I hate to say that, but I believe they are currently focused on their "multibillion-dollar project"...I dislike the fact that the metaverse is still in testing phase LOL. SMH.
