The official Tamashii Nations X (formerly known as Twitter) has teased the addition of the 1.5 Gundam in the METAL BUILD high-quality figure line. A prototype of this upcoming entry will be showcased at the METAL BUILD FESTIVAL 2024 WITH CLUB TAMASHII MEMBERS. The festival starts on July 5th, 2024, at the TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO and will continue until September 2nd.

The CB-001.5 1.5 Gundam (also known as 1.5 Gundam, with "1.5" pronounced as "Eyes") is an enhanced version of the CB-001 1 Gundam. It was first seen in Mobile Suit Gundam 00V: Battlefield Record, Mobile Suit Gundam 00P Special Edition, and Mobile Suit Gundam 00I.
